History & Production: Developed as part of Firmenich’s palette of sustainable, biodegradable aroma molecules, Nympheal™ was designed to mimic the scent of fresh water flowers such as lotus or water lily—flowers that cannot be extracted naturally. Structurally related to Hedione®, it expands its signature jasmine-like luminosity with added green-aquatic nuances and a clean, musky undertone, enhancing diffusion and freshness. In perfumery, it appears in floral, marine, and musky compositions, where it imparts modern elegance and a sense of liquid light—the olfactory equivalent of silk rippling across water.
