Le Passant captures a fleeting presence, leaving behind a distinct and lasting trail. Created as an homage to men’s perfume, it reflects a delicate masculinity built around a charismatic lavender note. The inspiration comes from a personal memory of a father’s fragrance, centered on a beautiful lavender. During its creation, an essential detail emerged through the recollection of Armenian paper kept in his pockets, introducing a subtle vanilla nuance that completes the composition. This combination forms a reassuring and composed scent. Its natural green hue comes from lavender distilled in Grasse, where chlorophyll from the stems gives the fragrance its distinctive color, crafted from entirely natural ingredients.
The composition opens with bergamot, lavender, and tagetes, creating a fresh and aromatic introduction. The heart develops through lavandin, reinforcing the fragrance’s central lavender character with clarity and depth. In the base, tonka bean, amyris, and vanilla provide warmth and a smooth, balanced foundation. This structure highlights the interplay between aromatic freshness and soft sweetness. Created by perfumer Serge de Oliveira, Le Passant is designed as a men’s fragrance, maintaining consistency and elegance from its opening through to its lasting dry down.
